Just after you registration, you will conduct a test. This assessment will help us to diagnose your degree of proficiency in the French language, and choose the most appropriated class level that suits you. For each level, you will get regular examination to validate your progress. These tests are held monthly at the end of the month (4th week) and quarterly tests at the end of each quarter during the week before school's holidays. The tests’ calendar is available at the secretariat.
Level A1 ("Discovery" Level of the CEFR):
At the end of this level, you will be able to:
- Understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at satisfying concrete needs.

- Introduce yourself or someone and ask personal questions about themselves - for example, his place of residence, relationships, what is belonging to him, etc. and reply to such questions.
|
- Communicate simply if your interlocutor is talking slowly and clearly and is ready to help.

- Understand isolated sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (eg personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment).

- Describe in simple terms your background, immediate environment and matters in areas that meet immediate needs.

- Relate an event, an experience or a dream, describe a hope or a goal and expose briefly reasons or explanations for a project or an idea.

- Understand the essential content of concrete and abstract topics in a complex text, including technical discussions in your specialty.
