DELF, DALF & TCF Preparation Courses
The French Language Institute (ILF) proposes for all students to take preparation courses to the following exams:
- D.E.L.F (Dipôme Elémentaire de Langue Française) - Elementary French Language Diploma

- D.A.L.F. (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française) - Advanced French Language Diploma
|
- T.C.F. (Test de Connaissance du Français) - Test of French Knowledge
|
|
These courses are held from 2 pm to 4 pm on Wednesday and/or Friday for 4 hours per week.

Pre-Registration
We retain your attention to the fact that pre-registration is not a definitive registration. Through this pre-registration, you will book your courses by the payment of booking fees deductable from the total cost of your courses but not refundable. You need to finalize your payment up to 15 days before the scheduled start of your course.

How to Pass the TCF - CIEF at the French Language Institute (ILF)?
The French Knowledge Test (T.C.F.) is the test of the French Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research.
TheT.C.F. is a placement test in French language for non French-speaker. This test allows you to assess and validate your French languages kills for professional or personal reasons. All candidates receive a certificate of result on one of the six existing levels (A1 to C2) of the competency scale defined by the Council of Europe (Common European Framework of Reference).

General Terms and Conditions of registration to the TCF
- You must be at least 16 years.
|
- The number of seats for each session is limited.
|
- TCF certificate is valid for 2 years.
|
- Optional tests can be passed individually and if the candidate has already passed the mandatory tests.
|
- Candidates who have already passed the tests of the TCF mustre-register with their former candidate code.
|
- Refunds are not possible once payment is made. Only a carry over to the next session (mandatory 60 days off before re-registration) can be accepted and only with medical justification.
|
- You must present yourself to the session with a TCF official ID with photo (no student cards accepted) and your call. Without these documents, you will not be allowed topass the test.
|
- You must arrive 15 minutes before the time indicated on yoursummons. No delay will be tolerated.
|
- You must sign an attendance sheet at the beginning of each test.
|
- You must bring a black ball point pen.
|
- During the test, you can not be assisted by any book or document under penalty of being excluded.
|
- You must give back your TCF's examination to the supervisor at the end of the test. It isstrictly forbidden to take it back home.
|
- The time of passage of the oral examination of each candidate will be posted on the day of the session.
|
- In case of disruption of the proper conduct of the testor fraud, the minutes will be prepared by the supervisor. Your test will besuspended and it will be to the French Language Institute to decide which sanctions to apply.

Registration to the examination of the TCF
The French Language Institute (ILF) will validate your final registration to the T.C.F. after receipt of online information form and after full payment of your registration to the examinaiton. Remember to leave a copy of your ID at the Secretariat one month before the scheduled date of the tests.
- STEP 1: Proceed to the payment of your examination through the PAYPAL link (securized electronic payment method) on the right side or by using the other payment methods described at the bottom of this page.

- STEP 3: Maximum one month before the scheduled date of the tests, you must deposit to the secretariat a copy of your ID (passport, identity card,driving license). You will not be accepted for examination if you do not file this proof in a timely manner.
